RAINE SQUARE

The Raine Square Development in the centre of Perth includes specialty retail stores, a new hotel, various restaurants and bars and a multi-screen cinema complex. Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick and Cox Architecture worked together to bring together the interior and exterior spaces into a playful and well connected precinct. The heritage Royal Hotel, Glyde Chambers and Wentworth buildings were restored as part of the redevelopment and returned to their former glory.

PROJECT PARTNER Mondoluce
LUMINAIRES FEATURED Odessa Floodlight

With a wide range of optics, the LIGMAN ODESSA can achieve optimum horizontal and vertical illumination from various suspension heights. For this project the light source was also customised, using a dimmable Xicato XIM module. This exceptional outcome was the result of collaborative hard work by FLOTH Engineers, Mondoluce, and the team at LIGMAN Australia.

In the laneways, Landscape Architects REALM Studios requested a catenary solution, and due to the location of the lighting, FLOTH Engineers sought a Low Voltage product for public safety. Clearly the solution would need to be a customised product to suit the special needs of this project, and the answer came in the form of a catenary mounted ODESSA floodlight.
